Agence Ter

Strata, horizons and flux are recurring themes underlying Agence Ter’s projects. They provide a starting point for working on various sites and take on different forms and directions in each project.  Each project location is the result of a stratification process. Agence Ter chooses to reveal one or some of these layers.  Moreover, these visible or invisible layers or strata form various horizons, amongst which the most important of all: the expanse, subject of every project.  Last but not least, different kind of flux, networks and flows (commercial or financial, informational, of water and people, empirical or virtual) run through those strata, redefine the horizons and create new territories.  In that sense, they have to be taken in account in the design process.
