This event is in place of the previously advertised ‘Foothill and Mountain: 2 site visits’ which included Clancy Moore’s ‘2 houses in a disused quarry’. Unfortunately, due to safety reasons Clancy Moore Architects had to cancel their part of the event; however we will endeavor to reschedule this visit for late summer.

The site is approximately 1 hour from Dublin city centre.
directions:
Take the M50 then the M11 through Kilmacanogue and the Glen of the Downs until the exit for Rathdrum (Rathnew/Wicklow/Rathdrum R772). At the roundabout take the first exit and follow the road under the railway until you reach a T-Junction. Turn left on to the R752. Follow the R752 (the railway track should be on your left) for about 5 miles through Glenealy. Just before the railway bridge, take a sharp turn to the right. This is Barnbawn Road. Keep on this road until you reach a junction (Garryduff Crossroads) where you will see signs for Laragh and Rathdrum. Take the Laragh Road and, after a few minutes, as the road turns right over a stream, the site should be visible in the field in front of you on a rise. The entrance to the site is a little further along the road on your left.
