Victoria Acebo in conversation with Architecture53Seven

Victoria Acebo and Ángel Alonso hold diplomas from ETSA, Madrid. Winners of the 9th Spanish Architecture Biennale’ Young Architects Award for the Centre of Arts building (2007), they also got the 1st Prize from the Architectural Association of Castilla-León in private housing category. In 2008 they won VETECO Award for the best façade. In 2000 they were selected for Mies Van de Rohe Award with LC House and in 2008 with the Centre of Arts and the Vars House. Their work was presented during the Design Week in Tokyo (2007); in Shanghai, in the Urban Planning Exhibition Centre; in MoMA, New York, within the “On Site: New architecture from Spain” show; and in Venice during the 8th and 10th Mostra d’archittetura.
In 2007 the Architectural Association of Madrid has published a monograph on their work within the Monoespacios collection.
