The AAI is calling for submissions from recent architectural graduates across the island of Ireland for The Maurice Craig Award. The award is open to final-year thesis projects completed in the last 24 months, ie. 2024 and 2025. The award is open exclusively to Thesis Projects completed in the fifth year of their architecture programme. Thesis Projects completed in third or fourth year are not eligible.
A longlist of projects will be selected by the AAI committee for presentation at the AAI Awards Day, where the AAI Awards Jury will review all selected student submissions during the same adjudication session. The Jury will be looking for strong architectural ideas that consider community, sustainability and the environment, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills demonstrated on each board. Submissions should be made digitally and include images and a descriptive text.
