Peter Carroll of A2 Architects will present recurrent themes and motivations in the context of recent work of his practice.

A2 Architects was established by Peter Carroll and Caomhán Murphy in 2005. The practice is founded on a shared interest in both the continuing development of architectural practice and the unchanging, essential nature of architecture. A2 have a strong interest in collaborative practice, working with clients, artists, engineers, other architects, designers and the wider public, as illustrated by their recent work on Granby Park. In 2015 in collaboration with John Gerrard Artist they were nominated for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture Mies van der Rohe Award for Pulp Press in Kistefos Norway. In October of this year A2, along with GKMP and Ryan W. Kennihan were invited by Raymund Ryan, Nathalie Weadick and ID2015 to represent Ireland at the inaugural Chicago Architecture Biennial with ‘New Horizon_Architecture from Ireland’
