This project is the construction of 12 new houses on a former depot yard in central Dún Laoghaire. While the houses are simple repeating units designed to be prefabricated off site they are carefully assembled on site to form brick gable fronted streetscapes and create new linkages between the town and the seafront. The houses have a high energy rating and are being constructed by SISK. They are due to be completed by June 2018.

Note: All attendees are required to wear full Personal Protective Equipment (steel toe boots with ankle support, hi-viz jacket, helmet etc).
The AAI is an entirely volunteer run non-profit organisation. Membership of the AAI is free and open to any member of the public. Members typically pay an entry fee to lectures and site visits. The standard entry fee for this event is €5 which contributes towards essential overhead costs of the organisation, with the option of purchasing an official CPD receipt for an additional €5.
