Picture Palace is an arthouse cinema in the centre of Galway. It is a concrete monolith, five storey over double-height basement. It occupies the garden of a reinstated 1820s merchant house. All circulation space are untempered; the three cinema rooms, bar and tearoom are acoustically and thermally lined.
