The AAI are pleased to announce the newly elected committee for 2020/2021.
The new AAI President Orla O’Kane, who was previously vice-president, is a practicing architect with O’Mahony Pike in Dublin and brings her extensive experience in both arts and cultural organisations in Ireland and the UK. Orla welcomes your ideas & suggestions for the 125th Year of the AAI in 2021.
“As a voluntary organisation the AAI is dependent on the time and effort given by the committee as well as the support of our members. Thanks is due to both the continued dedication of returning committee members and the new faces who have recently joined and are much welcomed (below).
Particular thanks are owed to the outgoing AAI President Ronan Kenny for his dedication and passion for the intersection of technology and architecture and ensuring the organisation enjoyed a successful 2019/2020.
To our members and sponsors, a reminder that following the disruption of our spring season, we have extended existing memberships until the end of December 2020. Your subscription will renew automatically on 1/1/21.
January 2021 marks the beginning of commemorations for the 125th anniversary of the AAI, and so we hope that you will continue to support the organisation and ensure it can fulfil its goals of discussion and dissemination of Irish architectural culture.
In the meantime, we are finalising our schedule of online events for this autumn, including filmed site visits, online discussions, virtual book launches and a new short-format social media series.
